Some things I’ve learned:

The story of The Night Journey is very beautiful.

Islam is very concerned with hygiene.

Polytheists are the worst thing ever in Islam.

Islamic formal gardens are amazing.

The Islamic story of Abraham/Ibrahim differs significantly from the Jewish version.

The nature of God is very different from the Jewish or Christian versions. So does the nature of humans.

Charity is not only valued, it is an obligation.

Layla tul-Qadr is the night when the first verses of the Qur’an were revealed to the Prophet.

Djin can be good or evil, and were also created to worship Allah.

There’s a special class of sorceress who casts spells by “blowing on knots”.

Prayer is a ritual that is performed in a very specific way.

There’s a lot of studying. Some people memorize the entire Qur’an.
